The Unseen Cascade

Nature's raw beauty captured in flowing watercolor.

I wanted to capture that feeling of stumbling upon a hidden gem in nature, a place that feels untouched and wild. The composition draws you into the scene, with the rocks forming a natural frame around the cascading water. It's a moment of pure, untamed beauty, a reminder of the powerful forces at play in the natural world. I hope it evokes that sense of wonder and discovery for anyone who views it. The light plays across the wet rocks and through the falling water, creating a dynamic interplay of shadow and highlight. The cool blues and grays of the water and stone are balanced by hints of warmer earth tones in the surrounding foliage, adding depth and richness. It feels like standing right there, feeling the mist on your face, and hearing the rush of the water. It’s a very immersive experience.
