Welcome to my artistic world! I am Aprajita Lal, a self-taught artist based in New Jersey, United States who left behind a successful corporate career to follow my true calling- art. Painting, for me, is an ode to nature—an expression of its infinite beauty and diversity. It is my chosen path to create, hold, and share happiness in a tangible form. Through my artwork, I aim to bridge the gap between art and nature, allowing their combined magic to enhance our mental and physical well-being.  

My artistic inclination stems from an early age when my mother, Mrs. Geeta Chaudhary, inspired me to participate in the "All India Camel Color Contest." Winning the first prize at such a tender age was a turning point in my life. This early recognition sparked my interest in art, leading me to explore various subjects and mediums over the years.  I paint in different styles from abstracts, rays of hope, autumn, boats, florals, landscape, waterscapes, etc.

Being more than just a collection of paintings and a platform to buy art online, Aprajita Art is a journey of inspiration, emotion, and storytelling. 

Founded by me, Aprajita Lal, who has been featured in some of the well-known magazines like Creative Artist and Canvas Rebel and won prestigious awards and accolades, I try to represent a perfect balance of motivation and creativity, bringing my motto to life, ‘Art that brings happiness’. 

I found solace in painting at quite an early age, conveying emotions through vivid brushstrokes that couldn’t be conveyed by words. My journey as an artist began with participating and winning the All India Camel Color Contest during my early years as a student, but it only turned into a full fledged profession in 2020 when I took a break from my regular 9-5 and was able to craft some beautiful pieces. A self-fulfilled achievement and a little motivation from my family were all it took for me to bring Aprajita Art to life. 

After that, my works were showcased at prestigious exhibitions and art fairs like ArtExpo NYC, Affordable Art Fair, and Volta Art Fair. I am also honorably represented by Park West Gallery, where my paintings are housed as a part of exclusive collector events, and am a proud member of the historic Salmagundi Club. My works have been showcased at Art Basel Miami, one of the world's premier art fairs. Now, through my art, I have set up on a mission to help people connect their spirit with nature and make people realise the importance of conserving nature.
